A friend picked up a carry out lunch order for us today. All I ordered was a grilled chicken caesar salad. aaaand...No chicken. I mean the whole thing is essentially two ingredients with some dressing and Parmesan cheese... and you forgot one of the two?? Not driving twelve miles back... so thanks for the lettuce I guess. They screwed up my friend's order too... 0 for 2, just going to write this place off.
The service is the absolute worst in the area and I have lived in this area over a decade. It is a very small cafe. The waitress had to be constantly reminded about the order. The best part was she lost my credit card. It was clear when I asked where my card was, she had no idea OR maybe she did. They had used my card for the wrong table and it appeared the waitress had given the table my credit card. Outrageous. They did not attempt to find the right owner of the card. They just held it at the register which concerns me that honestly is an issue. What were the intentions? Especially since there were so few tables in the entire cafe... If you eat there do not use a credit card.
This place is a best kept secret. We have only had breakfast and it is always fresh ingredients and very flavorful. Even their tacos are exceptional. Our favorite is the Western steak omelette and the Mayan chicken omelette with egg whites.
Food has always been very good but the service has always been very poor. If they trained the waitstaff better this place would be on the list of regular breakfast spots.
Always good quality food and good service. One of my favorite small town feel restraunts.
